Steven Meisel

Steven Meisel was born in New York in 1954 and studied at the Parsons School of Design. Prolific and innovative, Meisel has shaped important trends in fashion for more than twenty years through major advertising campaigns for Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, and Versace, among others.

Meisel’s photographs have appeared on every cover and lead editorial story of every issue of Vogue Italia. He is a primary photographer for both the American and Italian editions of the magazine.

Meisel has produced several books, including Herb Ritts: Work; Dolce & Gabbana: Animal, Rock and Royalty (Tiny Folios Series); and Steven Meisel, but is perhaps best known for his 1992 collaboration with Madonna on the controversial coffee-table book Sex.

I personally love his work, and you?

Gold Diggers

Natasha Poly by Terry Richardson for Vogue Paris.

I am still deciding if I like the pics or not. I think what is reflected in them is something so disgusting to me that I do not like them for that reason. But on the other hand I believe that if I feel bad looking at them it must be because they are good pics, because they got to overwhelmed me. I don’t know if you get me. Maybe too deep thoughts for a Tuesday.

What do you think?

Eugenio Recuenco

And I go on talking about Spanish people. Today Eugenio Recuenco, photographer. Here you have some of his pics:

What do you think of his work?

Marina Pérez

Marina Pérez is one of the best Spanish models. She has worked for the best designers, made the best editorials with important photographers. Nowadays she does not do as much designers runaways as she used to, guess she is taking it easy after a few years of full throttle.

Here you have some pics.

Did you know Marina? Do you like her?

David Lachapelle

David Lachapelle is one of the best known photographers of our time. He has work with many diferent celebrities, from models, actors and people from the music business.
He has even directed some video clips, such us Britney’s Everytime.
You will recognise his pics by the bright colours, sexy and provocative style.

Which is your favourite Lachapelle picture? Do you like his style?

Claudia Schiffer

Claudia Schiffer keeps on working in the fashion scene. I think she is 37 now but we can still find her in Chanel, Louis Vuitton and many other campaigns.
She belongs to the top model generation of the 90’s, and I believe it will be difficult to have some other models like her or Linda, Naomi, Christy or Elle in the future. They continue working and when they appear on the catwalk they outshine the rest of the models.

The photographs belong to Vogue Italy, April issue.

Which model of the 90’s was your favorite?
